Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was both a team member as well as the captain of the Fierce Five in 2012 and the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In 2012 her year, she received gold medals in team competitions as well as the floor exercise. On the balance beam she was awarded a bronze. She became the first American gymnast at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. The gold medal was hers in the team event at the 2016 Olympics that was her as well as Gabby Douglas first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Silver medals were awarded in the floor-based individual and all-around competitions. The break was for three years between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Gold medal winner American team also won 2 World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began in the age of 2 and her most favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who died due to cancer. Aly hopes to be an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden the line of socks and leotards in the near future. Fierce, a new book she is working on is due out sometime in the coming year.
